• "Monoi" means "Sacred Oil" and has a rich legacy in French Polynesia as a symbol of beauty, wellness and spiritual connection. Monoi de Tahiti, much more than a skincare ingredient, has been used for centuries by French Polynesian people for daily conditioning and reparative properties as well as a sacred oil in spiritual practices. Often used as an offering to the Gods and in daily skin and hair care, Monoi de Tahiti combines traditional wisdom with scientifically proven benefits for the skin and hair. Suggested skincare routine:

First use-

·       Patch test before facial application.

·       Wait 24–48 hours and watch for redness, itching, burning, bumps, or swelling.

·       Do not introduce it at the same time as another new product.

·       Begin with a small amount—two drops are enough for the whole face.

·       Suitable for Day and/or Evening facial routines

·       Due to the richness of this serum, most customers find they do not need additional moisturizers. We recommend, following the routine that works best for you.

For dry or normal skin-

• Cleanse with a gentle cleanser.

• Apply a hydrating water-based mist or essence if desired.

• Apply 1-2 drops of Icaro to slightly damp skin.

• Press and gently massage into the face rather than vigorously rubbing.

• Follow with a moisturizer if additional barrier support is needed. However, most of our customers find this step to be unnecessary.

Start with two or three day and/or nights per week. Increase or decrease as needed.

For combination or oily skin-

• Cleanse with a gentle cleanser.

• Apply a hydrating water-based mist or essence if desired

• Start with one drop

• Use only on dry areas or at night

• Consider using it once or twice weekly

• Stop if congestion or persistent bumps develop

****Do not apply it to the eye area, lips, mucous membranes, or broken skin. Do not use it immediately after strong acids or other procedures.

Body, cuticles, hair, and beard

• Body: Apply to damp skin after bathing.

• Cuticles: Use one drop per hand and massage into the nail and surrounding skin.

• Hair ends: Use one or two drops on damp or dry ends.

• Scalp treatment: Apply a small amount to the hair lengths, scalp, wait 20 minutes and wash as normal.

When using this serum to support your dieta as you prepare for your ceremonial journey, use daily at least two weeks prior to the ceremonial experience as part of your skincare regimen (after patch testing) and/or for anointing your body and spaces.
